My story

I’m Sarina Mann. I turned my greatest fear into my greatest strength. Now, I’m here to help you do the same.

My story

I’m an award-winning public speaker who, for many years, had a paralysing fear of public speaking. As a natural introvert, I’d do anything to avoid it.

What changed? Well, it wasn’t positive thinking —and I certainly didn’t fake it till I made it.

On one particular day, I stopped avoiding it. I walked to the podium on legs like jelly, read out my speech and made it to the end. It was my father’s eulogy.

Life is too short to waste on being afraid. Fear holds you back, both professionally and personally, yet you can change that right now because here’s the thing:

  • Public speaking is a skill. Absolutely anyone can learn it
  • … even introverts like me

I’ve given numerous presentations and public talks, gained my Speaker to Trainer Certificate with Toastmasters — and in 2023, I became the Toastmaster Champion in Impromptu Speaking.

Invited to speak at the launch of the Business and IP Centre, Southampton 2021

Invited to the House of Lords in 2022

Became the District Champion of Impromptu speaking, London 2023

My approach - busting common myths about public speaking

I believe that a lot of the common advice given about confidence in public speaking doesn’t work, especially for introverts and those who don’t consider themselves to be natural speakers.

Here are a few myths I just love to bust:

Fake it until you make it

I get the sentiment but it doesn’t actually work to build confidence. Why not go for developing genuine confidence; it doesn’t take that long.

The key is understanding the myths around confidence and knowing that public speaking is a skill and like any other skill, once you learn how to do it you will naturally be confident about it. Take it from me, an introvert and someone who grew up with high levels of anxiety including panic attacks!

The steps to being a confident and impactful speaker are much more straight forward than you think.

Just be yourself

Again, I get the sentiment, but this is one of the worst things you can tell someone who’s nervous about presenting, as it implies that no skills are required for their presentation.

Nerves are the same as excitement, just reframe it

That’s true for those who have low levels of nerves and who know how to deliver a good talk. But for those with anxiety and those who panic this advice doesn’t work.

I created my own 5 step methodology for genuine confidence based on my own experience as an introvert who had anxiety and who then became a confident award-winning speaker.

My approach is practical and is based not only on mindset but physiology too. We look at the breath, grounding and relaxation techniques that work with both body and mind together.

It’s both practical and results-driven.

My unique breakthrough methodology and results-driven approach will teach you how to engage any audience, deliver your message with impact, and leave a lasting impression.

My Mission

Break through myths around confidence.

Break through misconceptions that great speakers are born not made.

Break through barriers to success to fill the skills gap and empower individuals with the right skills and make every voice count.

My Vision

To create a world where everyone is empowered with the knowledge and skills to communicate effectively to make a positive impact.
